Singapore, 23 May 2024 – Astragraphia, as principal of FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific, is proud to announce the winners of the 2024 Global Innovation Print Awards (GIPA). This prestigious award was given to 31 winners from eight countries for their extraordinary works in the world. printing. This year, the Innovation Print Awards (IPA) spread its wings by accepting submissions from all over the world. FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific received 179 creative application works originating from 16 countries, including countries in the Asia Pacific region, Germany, India, Sweden, England and the Netherlands. Even more special, the Global Innovation Print Awards are the newest special recognition category given at the 2024 Drupa printing exhibition. An extraordinary achievement to be proud of!

This year's design entry brings something different. The clever mix of apps, technologies and colors, especially the use of custom colors, is a highlight. The extra cost and effort typically associated with custom colors often becomes a barrier to design decisions. However, advances in production technology have opened new gates. Today, these unique colors have become an integral part of design, especially for digital printing. Ease of use and wide availability of custom colors allow designers to explore their creativity without limitations.

“The print landscape is undergoing transformative change, with digital printing emerging as a hub of innovation,” said Paul Callaghan*1, Independent Judge, Global Print Innovation Awards 2024. “The Global Print Innovation Awards (GIPA) are witnessing the rise of digital printing, where the limitations of old feelings have been eliminated and new frontiers in creativity have opened." From stunning custom colors to stunning designs and applications, digital printing has not only matched conventional methods, but has also emerged as a pioneer in the world of printing.

This work utilizes the perfect combination of Fujifilm technologies, including the Revoria Press PC1120, Jet Press 750S, and Acuity Select 48, to produce a stunning masterpiece. As the first winner of this prestigious award, WEGNER has demonstrated extraordinary avant-garde design creativity. They made clever use of Fujifilm's technological advantages, including the use of special colors and different paper media. This combination of technology and creativity produces extraordinary works of art that truly reflect the spirit of the Global Innovation Print Awards.
