What is the Work Process Flows in the Printing World?

Production process flow

Printing technology on offset printing machines, including digital printing, generally has 3 stages, namely:

a. Pre-Press (Pre-Print)

Pre-press includes all the initial process steps needed to prepare design materials which include, among others, text, images or images, and graphics that are in the design and have been prepared for the printing process, including the creation of design objects, both vectors and images through software, film and printing plates for the preparation of the printing process.

b. Press (Print)

The process of printing an object in the form of text or images into print media so that it becomes a quality printed product or application. Astragraphia Document Solution offers a wide range of production-scale printing technologies to suit your printing business needs (including Iridesse Production Press, Versant Series, PrimeLink C9065, Fujifilm JetPress 750HS, Fujifilm Revoria Press E1 Series, ApeosWide 3030/6050).

c. Post-Press (Post Print)

Is an activity that is carried out after material has been printed. Included in this process are cutting, folding, binding (lamination), or combining several printed materials into a single unit, such as books, packaging, brochures, and others. This stage is very important if you want to add value in an application. In the definition of making a printed item into the form of packaging, stickers, or labels and using it as the packaging of a product. Astragraphia Document Solution offers a wide range of finishing machines (among others: Graphtec Fmark 2, Graphtec FCX2000, Uchida Aerocut, Uchida AerodieCut) and large format inkjet (Mimaki) to give print applications a more elegant and quality finish.
